Polymer to Purpose
Turning plastic waste into practical solutions
ABOUT THE PROJECT
WHAT IS POLYMER WITH PURPOSE?
Polymer to Purpose tackles two challenges at once: plastic waste and accessibility gaps. Through partnerships with industry leaders, we turn recycled plastics into affordable prosthetics and sustainable building materials — giving waste a second life and changing lives in the process.

THE PROBLEM
Millions of tonnes of plastic waste are discarded every year, while millions of people lack access to affordable prosthetics. Our project bridges this gap.
Plastic Waste
Millions of tonnes of plastic waste are discarded annually. Decommissioned subsea infrastructure leaves behind polymers like polypropylene and polyamide that can be repurposed for social impact.
Accessibility Gap
Over 30 million people worldwide need prosthetic limbs, yet fewer than 20% have access due to high costs and limited availability. In Laos alone, 35,000–50,000 people could benefit from affordable solutions.
Our Solution
Innovative approaches turning plastic waste into life-changing products.
3D Printing
Converting recycled plastics into prosthetic limbs and building materials.
Innovation & Collaboration
Partnering with Woodside, TechWorks, Hyperion, and MPs to design and scale solutions.
Sustainability
Providing eco-friendly, affordable products for healthcare and housing needs.

How It Works
The journey from discarded plastic to life-changing products.
01
Collection
We source recycled polymers from decommissioned subsea infrastructure.
02
Creation
We transform plastics into prosthetics and sustainable housing materials.
03
Distribution
We partner with clinicians, NGOs, and communities to deliver solutions.
Tiny Homes
Transforming polymer waste into affordable, off-grid homes for rural communities and eco-tourism projects.

Housing shortages and environmental challenges collide in many regional areas. Our Tiny Homes initiative turns recycled polymers from decommissioned infrastructure into modular, off-grid homes designed for affordability, sustainability, and comfort.

Working with partners like Woodside, TechWorks, and Hyperion, we’re creating housing solutions that reduce waste, support rural communities, and open up new opportunities for eco-tourism and low-impact living.
Where We're Heading
Our Tiny Homes project is moving from concept to reality with pilot programs and early partnerships already underway. Here’s what’s next:
Material Testing
Finalise recycled polymer panel testing (2025)
Pilot Builds
Construct first tiny homes with local partners (Late 2025)
Eco-Tourism Launch
Partner with operators for off-grid stays (2026)
Regional Housing Expansion
Scale to rural communities (2027–2028)
Driving Change Together
These partnerships help us develop sustainable materials, fund pilot programs, and scale impact across WA and beyond.
